The world of fitness is vast and ever-expanding; with so many different options to choose - fad diets, exercise programs, various gyms with space-age equipment, in addition to all of the different nutritional advice that is hardly discernable from a lavish advertisement. All of this variety and confusion make it impossible to pick the right one, especially if you don't have the time or energy to do the proper research.
What I plan on doing is to help take the guess work out of it and provide you with insight on what will work for you and how to enjoy yourself, while staying healthy at the same time. My goal is to provide you with detailed options of what is out there ? whether it be the newest trend in yoga or Pilates, or the personal chefs? that provide you with nutritional advice and meals, I want to take the guess work out of it and make it something that fits into your daily lifestyle.
Through the years, the benefit of healthy has grown from a fad in the 1960?s to a way of life here in 2008. It seems that even in today?s chaotic world, one of the common factors in people?s life is remaining healthy ? and research continually points us into the world of exercise and nutrition. Medical research done by such notable professionals, such as Dr. Kenneth Cooper, the ?founder? of aerobics, has helped transcend society into the health fanatics that we are and made us recognize the true potential and benefit of living a healthy lifestyle.
Being a believer in the benefits of exercise and living a healthy life has become not only a habit of mine, but a full time career. I was a Division I college athlete and now my professional life is centered around the fitness industry. I hope that through this blog and the experience and knowledge that I carry, will help you make educated choices on how to live a healthy life through the benefits of fitness.
