Freemark Abbey Winemaker Dinner - Coming Soon!

Live-Blu is traveling into the nation's capital to experience a crafted dinner and wine pairing with Executive Chef Bryan Moscatello and Sommelier Elli Benchimol. This Thursday evening, we will taste a variety of grapes and vintages from the Napa Valley winery, Freemark Abbey. Paired with exquisite dishes, the appetizer will feature a lobster cake with arugula and tomato jam. The salad course will be comprised of a red and green oak assortment complemented by crisp squash blossoms and grilled zucchini vinaigrette. The main course will entail beef sirloin, accompanied by parmesan risotto, plated over an eggplant sauce. The exquisitely crafted dishes will be accentuated by select wines to emphasize different flavors in both the food and drink. The wines selected include the 2007 Chardonnay, 2007 Viognier, 2004 Merlot, 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon.
